Hot 97 mocked victims of the South Asian tsunami catastrophe, calling them “screaming chinks” and “little Chinamen.” The Hostess of WQHT/Hot 97 morning show “Miss Jones in the Morning” broadcast a horrifying song that mocked the dead South Asian tsunami victims, uses the racial slurs ‘chink’ and ‘Chinamen,’ and calls the drowning victims ‘bitches. The Grand Council of Guardians protested Hot 97 lack of respect for the victims and their overall lack of respect for the African American community.
